Handmade Wooden Origami Cat Ornament

In Japanese culture, cats are powerful symbols of luck, good fortune, protection, and happiness. The popular lucky cat “maneki-neko” figurine is often placed in homes, shops, and restaurants to attract prosperity, safeguard the space, and bring positive energy to everyone who enters.

Each wooden cat is handmade from laser-cut wood and authentic Japanese chiyogami paper.

This design features pink and yellow plum blossoms on a red background with metallic gold accents.

Lightweight and durable, they can be displayed as hanging ornaments or placed on a desk, shelf, or decor arrangement. Multiple layers of hand-applied sealant provide water resistance, but they should not be soaked in water or placed outdoors. Prolonged direct sunlight may cause colors to fade. Because of their delicate design, please handle with care to avoid breakage.

Every origami cat comes individually packaged in a protective box and includes a card stating the traditional symbolism of the cat.
